joined Toastmasters over ten years ago to have breakfast with my husband.
I didn't really plan to join. But, once there, I was hooked for life.
Toastmasters offers something for everyone at any level. You never get
bored because there is always something different to try. Every skill
you learn in Toastmasters is either a speaking, a listening, or a leadership
skill. In my new career, I help people to reduce their debt and to realize
their dream of financial independence. I can't think of a Toastmaster's
skill that I won't use in my new venture.

When
I joined toastmasters just the thought of getting up in front of a group
of people brought swarms of butterflies to my stomach. Today the butterflies
are still there -- but now they fly in unison. It is fun.
